About Sarah

Sarah brings a unique blend of clinical research, oncology, and palliative care experience to her role at Pathway Geriatrics. She began her career as a registered nurse case manager with Providence Hospice of Seattle before earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2024. These experiences shaped her passion for evidence-based medicine and the art of caring for individuals with life-limiting illness. Sarah is excited to share her expertise in symptom management and her commitment to compassionate care with patients, families, and the Pathway team.

Treatment Philosophy

Sarah’s approach to care is patient-centered and values-driven. She believes in working collaboratively with patients, families, caregivers, and the care team to create plans that honor what matters most. Her focus is on providing holistic palliative care to older adults, with an emphasis on maximizing quality of life. Sarah considers herself a lifelong learner and is dedicated to ongoing education and mentorship. She treasures the time spent listening to her patients’ stories and feels privileged to learn from them every day.

Personal Interests

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Sarah has called Seattle home for the past five years. She loves exploring the outdoors with her partner and friends—whether backcountry skiing, mountain biking, trail running, or climbing. She also enjoys traveling, meeting new people, and learning new things. When at home, Sarah can often be found curled up with a good book, working on a craft project, or playing the piano.
